The Courses and Conferences Centre is part of South Central SHA and underpins ongoing professional development of health professionals and workforce in the region.
The Courses and Conferences Centre portfolio provides and supports a range of high quality programmes, these are developed, delivered and quality assured in conjunction with a faculty of course directors. This ensures that the programmes are relevant, accessible and that they meet the needs of the South Central workforce.
We work with the two Deaneries within South Central, the Oxford Deanery has a Leadership and Managment portfolio made up of the following.
A highly recommended contemporary course for final year specialist registrars giving an overview of NHS managment, and how to fulfil CCT requirements prior to becoming Consultant.
Nationally acclaimed in the BMJ Lead or be led is a unique multi-disciplinary two day residential course for those who want to learn more about the NHS and develop their leadership and management skills. The programme is fun, interactive and uses realistic team exercises to examine different leadership styles.
The Leadership Development Centre is a challenging two day residential course for managers and specialist registrars. A range of individual and team exercises will identify development needs and enhance understanding of style in a variety of scenarios and situations.
