Academic Clinical Fellowships

Health Education England - Thames Valley has prestigious NIHR Academic Clinical Fellowships (ACFs) to offer as part of the NIHR Integrated Academic Training Pathway.

The support and advancement of clinical academic careers is highly valued within Health Education England - Thames Valley. In partnership with the University of Oxford, we have established Oxford University Clinical Academic Graduate School (OUCAGS) to support Academic Clinical Fellows and other clinical academics in training. Further information can be found at

Oxford’s world-leading biomedical and clinical research environment offers outstanding opportunities to combine comprehensive clinical, academic and research training for those with the ambition and motivation to shape the future of medicine. Our clinical academic training programmes are seeking highly motivated, enthusiastic applicants with the potential to excel in both their clinical and research training. Posts will commence in August/September 2019.
