Academic School

Oxford University Clinical Academic Graduate School (OUCAGS) was founded in partnership with the Oxford Deanery and NHS South Central (now NHS England Thames Valley) to promote and advance clinical academic careers. If you would like to find out more about clinical academic careers in Oxford and more generally there is an abundance of information on the OUCAGS website. Profiles of clinical academics in training and featured projects are available including recent work tackling Covid.

Academic Clinical Fellowships

Recruitment to Academic Clinical Fellow posts is handled by each specialty training programme with involvement from OUCAGS. The posts are advertised nationally on the Oriel website as well as the OUCAGS website in October each year.

Clinical Lectureships

Recruitment to Clinical Lecturer posts is managed by the University of Oxford, Medical Sciences Division. The posts are advertised on the University recruitment website usually in late spring.
